Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

You’ll love this version of Micky Ds Shamrock Shake and you’ll be saving your health at the same time!

Check this out:

McDonald’s large Shamrock Shake has 800 Calories (more than a 1/3 of your necessary calories!) and 103 grams of SUGAR…YIKES!!!

The McDonald’s version also contains high fructose corn syrup, an estrogen/endocrine disruptor, food dyes and sodium benzoate as a preservative!

You can make a version of Shamrock Shake that’s actually good for you!

Ingredients

3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 oz. (about 6 tbsp.) vanilla protein powder or unflavored

1/3 cup spinach leaves

1/8 tsp. peppermint extract or, better yet, real mint leaves

1 1/4 cups crushed ice or 6 – 10 ice cubes

Directions

Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend at high speed until smooth, stopping and stirring if needed.
