Have you worked with a trainer before or watched videos and they tell you “Squeeze your butt” at the top of a squat?
Yeah….don’t do it.
It sounds like a great cue to engage more muscle fibers, doesn’t it?
But, what it really does is causes you to tuck your pelvis under and you actually LOSE alignment …and we are strongest when we are aligned.
